Eating while guessing! Central multi-national Fusion cuisine restaurant “Mystery Ingredient” menu! Hokkaido horse dung sea urchin / black truffle chicken liver

There are many high CP value restaurants and cafes in Sheung Wan, such as the relatively hidden “Meat Cuisine and Wine CARVING”! The restaurant specializes in international fusion dishes, and offers a “Luxury Tasting Menu” starting at HK$988. The ingredient combinations are fresh and the chef adds a little mystery by using “mysterious ingredients” in the menu, allowing diners to “guess while eating”!

Let’s start with the appetizer “Three small plates”, including the “Cod crab meat” with Italian “mystery ingredients” for freshness, the “Japanese Wagyu quail egg” with smoked fish roe sauce, and the spicy “Salmon roe abalone with wood buds”.

Next, three other appetizers made with the same “mysterious ingredients” are served. The “Hokkaido horse dung sea urchin” paired with crispy bean curd skin allows you to taste freshness and different textures at the same time. The “black truffle foie gras york pudding” with freshly shaved black truffle and Japanese light snow salt enhances the taste profile. The “homemade white child dumpling with dried scallop and daikon” is made with white child to create delicious dumplings, with the addition of a mysterious ingredient that gives the dumplings a rich cheese flavor!

In terms of main courses, there is the “Aged Tuna Roll”, made with horse mackerel aged for seven days, combined with special sauce and homemade pickles, bringing a mouthful of fish oil freshness. The “Japanese Wagyu Sukiyaki” uses A5 Wagyu beef from Kumamoto, cooked in the sukiyaki style, and served with dream king egg, exceptionally smooth and rich! The “Hokkaido Seven Star Rice with Crab, Matsutake, and Perilla Flower” is definitely the highlight of the set menu, made with Hokkaido Seven Star Rice, combined with crab meat, matsutake mushrooms, perilla flowers, and homemade sweet soy sauce with dried fish, enhancing the rice with extra freshness!

The final dessert, “Banana Black Bean Mochi,” is topped with tofu ge cake and caramelized bananas. When eating, lightly dip in sweet black bean sauce and tofu mousse to taste the refreshing sweetness. You can also pair it with wine and enjoy a few drinks with friends!
