After opening branches in London, Singapore, Japan, and South Korea, popular American egg sandwich specialty store Eggslut will be coming to Hong Kong in June this year, opening a store in Causeway Bay’s Fashion Walk!
Eggslut was originally a food concept truck founded by American chef Alvin Cailan in 2011 on the streets of Los Angeles, USA. Two years later, they opened their flagship store in the Central Market of Los Angeles. Eggslut specializes in sandwiches with “eggs” as the main ingredient, using free-range chicken eggs that are no older than 89 weeks. They are served on their own brioche bun, which has a soft texture and is developed in-house. Additionally, they also offer salad or “to-go” options.
Sandwiches can be paired with different types of meat, including USDA-certified Black Angus beef with an 80/20 meat-to-fat ratio, as well as the rare USDA Prime tri-tip. Combined with smooth and juicy fried eggs, scrambled eggs, rich cheese, bacon, and other fillings, it creates a rich and layered taste experience!
Eggslut’s Causeway Bay branch will also bring a series of Hong Kong exclusive menus, and Fashion Walk has already seen the store’s hoarding, I believe everyone is very excited!
