The Landmark Mandarin Oriental’s mysterious bar! Free hot dogs with two cocktails at the telephone booth entrance/designated time period.

Inside the Mandarin Oriental hotel in Central, there is a hidden and interesting bar called Please Don’t Tell (PDT). To enter the bar, you first have to pass through the hotel’s ground floor restaurant, MO Bar, and walk to the end of the restaurant where there is a staircase leading up to the loft.

Only saw a door that says “telephone” like a telephone booth, almost making people doubt if they took the wrong path. Opening the folding door of the telephone booth, there is a phone inside, and then you follow the instructions to press “1”. The curtain next to it will open slightly, allowing guests to officially enter the bar. The process of entering the store is already so interesting, you can imagine that the atmosphere inside the bar is also relaxed and stylish, definitely not as formal as a five-star hotel.

Recently, the bar has launched very attractive promotions, offering free hot dogs during two different time periods:
Early Dog – 5pm-6pm
Dog After Dark – after 10pm
During these two time periods, customers who purchase any two cocktails can receive a free hot dog worth $152.

Hot Dog ($152) is the signature dish of PDT, with a very unique and interesting flavor. “Nippon Dog” wraps pork sausage in breadcrumbs and deep-fries it, accompanied by wasabi mayonnaise, pickled radish, and shredded carrots, giving it a Japanese flavor. “Chili Dog” is a beef sausage with melted pepper-flavored cheese, fried onions, Mexican chili peppers, and corn chips, creating a rich and layered taste.

In addition to hot dogs, when you come to PDT, you must try the Tater Tots. Not many restaurants in Hong Kong offer this sinful potato dish. Each crispy Tater Tot is topped with sauce, making it more flavorful than fries or potato chips. PDT’s Tater Tots come in various interesting flavors. The recently released “Cheung Fun Tots” ($152) is made with spicy sauce, sweet sauce, sesame, and sprinkled with sesame seeds, giving it the taste of cheung fun. Another sweeter option is the “Osaka Okonomiyaki Tots” ($148), which is made with Osaka okonomiyaki sauce, bonito flakes, and green onions, offering a rich and flavorful choice.
