Have you ever tried Vietnamese Fusion cuisine besides Japanese and Western Fusion dishes? Recently, NAM VIỆT NAM Café in Mong Kok has launched a new summer limited menu with the theme of “metamorphosis”, combining French, Southeast Asian, and Vietnamese flavors, with a touch of “visual style”!
Fusion dish recommendation “NVN Coffee Bone”, with cotton candy clouds on top of the cup, drizzled with Vietnamese strong coffee when served to melt the “clouds” and incorporate the cotton candy into the soft and smooth pork bone made with Vietnamese coffee. “Spicy and Salty Lemon Pork Neck” adds Hong Kong-style salty lemon to the Vietnamese-style pork neck; “Vietnamese Fermented Tea Leaf Salad” combines galangal, chili paste, lime, and fish sauce, among other Vietnamese spices, appetizing and flavorful.
“The Dragon Fruit Shrimp with Crispy Shrimp Chips” uses the special cooking technique of “Ceviche” from the French region to marinate the shrimp, making it more flavorful, then adding fresh dragon fruit juice and Sriracha seasoning. The “Almost a Foot of Shrimp” is inspired by the traditional way of cooking roasted lamb racks in the south of France, paired with Vietnamese-style tomato sauce.
The dessert includes “Coconut Panna Cotta from Fuk Guo Island,” incorporating fresh coconut into an Italian dessert, with dry ice and color-changing lights at the base of the utensils, creating a smoke effect, perfect for social media check-ins!
If you want to drink, you can try the “Pandan Milk Foam Coffee Beer” from NAM VIỆT NAM Café, which combines pandan, Vietnamese coffee, and Saigon beer. There are also two playful “Bubble Cocktails,” including the “DEEP SEA FANTASY” with gin, pomegranate, and sea grapes, and the “TEARS OF MERMAID” with rum, soda, and blue oranges, the latter of which has a non-alcoholic version.
