B’hood in Eastern Europe-style coffee bar! Bouquet-shaped Highball special drink, Spanish runny egg pancake!

In the afternoon, take a sip of rich coffee, and in the evening, have a special cocktail, which is the ideal leisurely daily life for many people! Recently, a new store named B’hood has opened in Tsim Sha Tsui. During the day, it is a European-style coffee shop offering a variety of specialty coffees, and at night, it transforms into a bar restaurant, offering a series of cocktail specialties!

B’hood

B’hood was founded by international coffee quality appraiser Jeffrey Wu and award-winning local mixologist Paul Chan. When it comes to coffee, Jeffrey particularly enjoys locally roasted beans, while also sourcing beans from regions like Brazil and Kenya, and brewing them using various methods such as pour-over, hand drip, and cold brew to highlight their unique characteristics. For example, using the siphon extraction method, they present the unique “alcohol aroma” of Irish Coffee without adding any alcohol.

Must-try includes 3 coffee Highball special drinks created with a cocktail concept, such as “Seen Juice” which uses cold brew coffee with the bartender’s commonly used iSi siphon technology, while “Fruiter’s Spanish” uses black rum instead of water for ice drip extraction. “Is it a mocha?” also deliberately selects coffee beans with chocolate flavor, cold brews with fresh milk, and incorporates the soaking concept commonly used in cocktails.

In addition to coffee recipes, there are also 6 Highball special drinks mixed by Paul, with 3 of them available in non-alcoholic versions. Among them, the “Hanakotoba” with a bouquet shape and sparkling floral tea drink is the most IG-worthy, as well as the “Pista-Chiiiii-o” mixed with homemade sparkling pistachio milk, and the Ginpacho inspired by Spanish cold soup, served in a tall white glass with bacon, full of surprises.

In addition to coffee and wine, B’hood also offers European-style light meals, with a focus on 4 types of fillings for Spanish omelets. The omelets are baked three times, with a crispy outer layer and a runny inside. The ingredients are inspired by local home-style versions, including potatoes, onions, cheese, bacon, and spicy sausage, served with baked beans, homemade tomato salsa, pickled cabbage, and sauce on the side, making it especially delicious. There are also options such as crab and lobster sauce, scallion roasted duck, and a vegetarian choice of black truffle and wild mushroom omelet.

Signature dishes include “French-style Duck Leg Confit with Crispy Waffle”, crispy and fragrant, paired with French duck leg and homemade orange peel lemon maple syrup, delicious and mouth-watering, along with delicious desserts such as matcha cake made by local pastry chefs, satisfying the sweet tooth!
