A European-style restaurant that feels like being in a “library”! Located in the World Trade Centre in Causeway Bay, Bochord is named after the ancient English meaning of a library or study room. The restaurant is decorated with built-in bookshelves, displaying hundreds of classical books, along with dark green leather sofas, pleated lamps, and more, giving off a retro and elegant vibe!
The window-side seat offers a panoramic view of the charming Victoria Harbour, coupled with live band performances, creating a lively atmosphere, perfect for taking photos! As for the food, the highlight is Bochord’s signature appetizer “French-Japanese Dream Chicken Roll with Beetroot Salad”, featuring homemade chicken mousse, foie gras, pan-fried wild mushrooms, and slow-cooked at 63 degrees for a tender and smooth texture!
Another highlight is the “Spanish Red Prawn with Shrimp Roe Noodles,” which combines Eastern and Western methods to cook seafood noodles. It uses locally made shrimp roe noodles from an old brand, paired with whole Spanish red prawns, homemade red shrimp sauce, shrimp roe powder, etc., fresh and delicious!
