After entering the AIRSIDE at Kai Tak last year, Japanese sushi expert “Uogashi Nihonichi” recently opened its second branch in Central Market! The store has an open sushi bar, colorful neon light wall paintings, and eye-catching decorations with classic Japanese fish-shaped soy sauce bottles as lamps!
The Central store “Fish Sushi Japan” menu adheres to the concept of “eat when fresh”. It will be adjusted according to seasonal ingredients and use fresh fish delivered directly from local markets in Japan to the store every day. There are various dishes made to order, including sushi or sashimi, as well as chef’s specials!
Omakase offers different set menus to choose from, such as “Chef’s Special Sushi” for HK$398, which includes ten pieces of sushi and one hand roll, full of freshness. The set menu also comes with tea-pickled miso soup, made with fresh chicken and sea bream, high value for money!
In addition, if you enjoy drinking sake, you can try the newly launched “Sake Flight” for HK$88 to taste 3 selected sakes by the sake sommelier! The sakes will change with the seasons, and currently, there is the “Fukujyu Junmai Ginjo” with a hint of roasted chestnut flavor, the “Shinnotsuru Junmai Ginjo” with a smooth texture and delicate fruity aroma, and the “Shichiken Furosen Misato Junmai” with a fragrance of green apple and fresh peach, perfect with seafood dishes to enjoy the freshness and a hint of intoxicating aroma!
