Have you noticed the new store called “Luigi Electric Company” on Lockhart Road in Wan Chai recently? Just by the name, you wouldn’t expect it, but it’s actually a Taiwanese barbecue restaurant!
“Luigi Electric Company” offers a variety of premium single-point meats, with a focus on high-value Japanese A5 Wagyu beef. The Hong Kong store has even hired a refrigerated Wagyu expert to use hand-cutting techniques to process each slice of Wagyu, preserving its juices. The store also offers the choice between “grilled by staff” and “grill it yourself”! It is worth mentioning that the store provides up to 11 types of sauces for guests to help themselves to for free, including black truffle sauce, Luigi’s salt, yuzu barbecue sauce, and Japanese salt and scallion, enhancing the deliciousness of different grilled meats!
The evening barbecue set meal has three options to choose from, including “Bear Bear Little Cow”, “Wagyu Eritate”, and “Wagyu Moxibustion”. You can choose according to your preference for Wagyu beef cuts, other meats, and seafood types. Each set meal comes with white rice and appetizers, with generous portions. The “Wagyu Eritate” set meal includes 10 dishes, starting with the “Signature Raw Beef with Parmesan Cheese”. The bottom layer is golden-brown garlic bread, topped with raw beef, shaved Parmesan cheese, and a little caviar, very appetizing.
Must-try items include the “Japanese top-grade Wagyu Tsukimi gold brick,” made from the essence of A5 Wagyu fillet with pink oil flowers, and a delicate texture like marble! Grilled on all sides until golden brown, then dipped in a mixture of barbecue sauce and raw egg yolk, the full-bodied oil and silky texture make it unforgettable! The “French cream oysters” also have surprises, with oysters and cream placed in an aluminum foil bowl, flavored with fresh lemon juice, the cream melts to envelop the oyster meat, creating a full-bodied texture! The set also includes the tender and chewy “American pickled diaphragm,” the tender “top-grade Wagyu beef tongue,” and the “Japanese sashimi-grade scallops,” ensuring absolute satisfaction!
