Recently discovered a high-quality Thai restaurant “泰沾麵 Asura” in the underground of Peninsula Centre in Tsim Sha Tsui. As soon as you enter the door, you will see a large mural that is quite eye-catching. The owner of Thai Noodle Shop, Ah Ken, has previously studied cooking at a Michelin-starred restaurant. Combined with his upbringing in Bangkok, he pays great attention to Thai cuisine. In addition to bringing authentic Thai flavors to Hong Kong, he also incorporates local tastes into various dishes.
The menu offers a wide selection of delicious dishes, including the must-try “Signature Thai Zha Noodles”. It uses Thai rice noodles with a generous amount of sauce, topped with pickled mustard greens and fried Chinese lettuce. It is then served with a choice of red curry or green curry, making it very flavorful. The curry also includes Hong Kong-style classic snacks such as pig’s blood and fish balls!
