Central office workers are in luck! Yakiniku Ushio, a red meat barbecue restaurant from Fukuoka, Japan, has recently launched a new takeaway barbecue lunch box, featuring exclusive New Village beef imported directly from Japan.
A total of four bento boxes are available: Ushio Wagyu rare cuts bento ($398), Wagyu sirloin sukiyaki bento ($288), Ushio Wagyu grilled meat bento ($288), and Australian Wagyu belly and chest meat bento ($238).
The most abundant part of the rare portion is the recommended dish for the entrance exam, which is always a popular choice in the store. The large piece of wagyu sirloin is topped with homemade soy sauce and grilled on both sides using a unique technique. When eating, dip it in Japanese raw egg yolk for a smooth and rich taste. It is a simple and classic flavor when eaten with white rice, and even when ordering takeout, it must be of high quality.
At the same time, the restaurant recommends several new dishes, still using wagyu beef as the main ingredient, but achieving a refreshing taste. The appetizer “Lightly Seared Wagyu Beef with Tosazu Vinegar Jelly” uses a light searing technique to maintain the tender texture of the meat, accompanied by the tangy and appetizing flavor of Tosazu vinegar jelly.
Another “Wagyu Iron Roll” combines raw Wagyu beef with various ingredients and homemade soy sauce, wrapped in seaweed for a rich and layered taste.
