Creo by Brentwood opens cafes based on the five elements. Previously, they opened shops with the themes of “wood” and “water”. The newest cafe, themed around “fire”, has just opened in Happy Valley.

The brand’s commitment to community and wood craftsmanship is reflected in the incorporation of fire elements in everything from interior design to menus and coffee cups. The exterior walls are painted with scenes of the Happy Valley neighborhood, using red bricks from a kiln and various shades of red to create a design that exudes a fiery color even from the street.

The brand values craftsmanship and creativity. This time, they invited ceramic artist David Chung to design coffee cups inspired by volcanoes. The black color on the outside of the cup is achieved using an oil dripping glaze, creating a burnt and charcoal effect. The inner wall is coated with a matte orange-red glaze, presenting a feeling of fiery red flames.

Food and drinks also showcase the element of fire. The “Spicy BBQ Pork Belly Roll” ($138) is a limited dish at this new restaurant. It uses a large portion of 20cm pork belly, grilled with BBQ flavor and served with homemade barbecue sauce. It is sandwiched in a crispy butter bun, making every bite flavorful and delicious. Considering the price, it offers great value for money.

In addition to the signature French toast, the dessert menu also features the recommended “Eton Mess” ($88), which includes elements such as fruit jam, cream, meringue, homemade profiteroles, and fresh fruits. It is presented in the form of a parfait cup, creating an attractive appearance.

Beverages are also made with “fire”, and the surface is burned to a fragrant “Royal Brulee” ($48), with Earl Grey tea as the base. The Brulee foam adds sweetness to the dessert and is also very Instagrammable. Outdoor seating welcomes furry friends to join in the fun, so pet owners, get ready for the next café hopping adventure.
