Does Japanese cuisine only consist of sushi and ramen? In Tsim Sha Tsui, there is a new upscale teppanyaki restaurant called N.28 TEPPANYAKI that offers high-quality ingredients, including rare Miyazaki wagyu beef and Hokkaido abalone.
The restaurant is decorated in a stylish manner, and as soon as you enter, you will see a long bar table where guests can enjoy their meal while watching the chef prepare teppanyaki dishes. The teppanyaki dishes have a fusion of Western and Japanese flavors. The lunch set menu starts at $188 and includes teppanyaki dishes, salad, steamed egg, miso soup, and dessert. However, the most exciting part is to have the full meal experience.
If you want to eat something more luxurious, you can choose the Gold Award Miyazawa Wagyu Teppanyaki Set / $1,680. Miyazawa Wagyu comes from Yamagata Prefecture in Japan and is one of the three major types of Wagyu, along with Matsusaka Beef and Kobe Beef. It has evenly distributed marbling, fine texture, and a particularly fragrant and sweet taste. Its production is limited, making it very precious.
One of the appetizers in the set menu is a combination of Miyazawa wagyu and sea urchin, with a subtle wagyu buttery aroma, paired with the sweetness of sea urchin. The set menu also includes thinly grilled and thickly grilled Miyazawa wagyu, which melts in your mouth and leaves a lingering taste.
Another recommendation is the Japanese Hokkaido abalone teppanyaki set, priced at $1,480. It features carefully selected fresh Hokkaido abalone, known for its thick and tender texture with a rich elasticity, making it perfect for teppanyaki. It is served with Aomori seaweed sauce, which enhances the savory flavor of the abalone.
