In Central Soho, the French restaurant Bar Bleu specializes in seafood, with only about 20 seats in the restaurant. It is always full on weekends because of its very attractive brunch, which you can enjoy for just HK$428 per person!
Three appetizers include “Signature Oyster,” which adds fresh cucumber and watermelon to fresh oysters; “Cuttlefish,” cut into small pieces, mixed with mashed potatoes and green apple cubes; “Cheese Croquette,” a crispy outer layer with a burst of cheese filling accompanied by octopus.
Next, choose a main course, which can be either fresh Japanese fish or fish fillet burger. You can also upgrade to a more luxurious option for an additional cost, including jumbo red shrimp seafood risotto, squeezing the shrimp paste into the seafood rice, sweet and fragrant. Another “bonus” option is crab meat linguine, with a creamy sauce full of fish roe, each bite full of freshness.
Finally, there are dessert madeleine cupcakes, with a crispy golden outer layer, a soft cake, full of buttery fragrance, no wonder they are highly praised! If you want to come here for brunch on the weekend, be sure to make a reservation early!
