In addition to visiting exhibitions, you can also “taste” art through food! Dada Bar + Lounge at The Luxe Manor is already filled with artistic style just from its interior design. It’s a top spot for taking photos, and recently they have launched a series of “surrealism” dishes!
Multiple cocktails and snacks with the theme of “subconscious mysteries” combine the masterpieces of two surrealist painters with ingredients! This includes the “crispy fried Camembert sticks” inspired by Salvador Dali’s masterpiece “The Persistence of Memory”, which melts in your mouth!
“Memory’s Persistence” has also transformed into a cocktail called “Memory’s Persistence,” which is made with The Famous Grouse whiskey, cherry brandy, and other strong liquors, and is decorated with a miniature melting clock. Another cocktail, “Flaming Giraffe,” is made with passion fruit and rum, and is topped with a beautiful flame, imitating the famous painting by Dali that depicts a burning giraffe.
Belgian painter René Magritte’s masterpiece “Heartstrings” is presented with the cocktail “Vanishing Cloud”, which perfectly recreates the shape of the cup filled with clouds in the painting! Another cocktail, “Magritte’s Dove”, is inspired by the famous painting “Man in a Bowler Hat” and is made with coconut rum and coconut water, giving it a refreshing taste. The milky white drink is served in a glass shaped like a dove, making it quite eye-catching!
There are also “Crispy Fried Chicken Wings with Nestlé” and “Homemade Smoked Shrimp with Sour Cream and Trout Roe”, which are equally creative!
