The Italian restaurant Cantina, located in Block 1 of Tai Kwun, has beautiful decorations and a European-style terrace corridor, attracting many people to come and take photos. The restaurant has recently collaborated with the Italian chocolate brand Venchi to launch a creative five-course “Chocolate Dinner”!
Each dish is paired with Venchi chocolate, including appetizers in the shape of ice cream, mousse made from Italian sausage and Parmesan cheese in mini sesame cones, accompanied by 50-year-aged Italian balsamic vinegar, sprinkled with crushed pistachios and Venchi Chocoviar 75% extra dark chocolate, creating a rich and layered flavor.
Italian dumplings are mixed with cocoa powder, paired with slow-cooked pork, and topped with cocoa oil, crushed almonds, and thyme. The slightly bitter chocolate contrasts with the refreshing vanilla. For the main course, there is roasted Iberian pork tenderloin, paired with sweet and soft caramelized pears, green onions cooked in white rum, and drizzled with a sauce made with Venchi Gianduiotto chocolate, bringing out a delicate flavor.
In addition, there are also chocolate desserts, such as Venchi’s strawberry sorbet paired with crunchy Piedmont hazelnut crumbs and cherries, and then slowly pouring chocolate sauce onto the layer of dark chocolate wafer, which instantly melts and is quite enticing! If you’re still not satisfied, you can add the V-Punch cocktail (HK$128), which has a clear and smooth taste.
