Located at the Sai Kung Pak Sha Wan Pier Hotel, the “Food Theater” restaurant not only offers stunning views of the blue sea, but also allows you to taste fresh ingredients flown in from the Tsukiji Fish Market in Japan.
The restaurant specializes in Omakase and a variety of authentic Japanese dishes. Recently, they have launched a limited edition “Golden Secret Set Menu” which includes 9 unique delicacies such as appetizers, starters, soups, sashimi, grilled dishes, sushi, hot pots, main courses, and desserts. The dishes are adorned with pure gold leaf, giving them a luxurious feel.
The set menu starts with a delicate slow-cooked monkfish liver, with a smooth and tender texture. The appetizers include soup with tofu skin and sea urchin, Edo-style omelette, boiled scallops, and savory boiled shrimp with chestnut and pumpkin. The fresh sashimi includes the meaty and full-bodied “Reiwa’s Monster” premium oysters from Iwate Prefecture, tuna, red peony, and scallops, served with a clear soup made from sea bream and kelp, full of freshness.
Wrapped in pure gold leaf, the A4 grade wagyu sirloin is served with a black vinegar sauce infused with wasabi from Mount Asō. The wagyu butter has a smooth texture and melts in your mouth. Additionally, there is a pine leaf crab hot pot with a rich and flavorful taste. The chef also prepares a seasonal sushi trio, eel rice, and pickles. Each set menu includes a tofu pudding with soy milk and a seasonal Japanese fruit dessert.
