The Taiwanese specialty pickled fish from Zhujian has recently opened its first overseas branch in Hong Kong, located in Causeway Bay Plaza. The store’s interior design incorporates the exclusive original character “Captain Ayu,” and the signature pickled fish soup is developed by learning from the master chefs of old Shanghai hotpot restaurants!
The Zhuma sour fish soup base alone has 7 options, including 6 soup base fish dishes and 1 special soup dish, with Taiwanese, Chinese, and Japanese flavors available. There are large, medium, and small portions to choose from, making it convenient for solo dining or sharing with friends! The most classic flavor, “Commander Sour Fish,” uses Zhuma’s homemade pickled vegetables and pickled radish to create the soup base, paired with mustard greens marinated in traditional craftsmanship, unique broth, pickled peppers, and Sichuan peppercorns, and then added with tender and smooth wuhu fish slices, full of freshness!
If you like seafood, we also recommend the “Hai Pai Shrimp Soup Fish”, made in the most authentic Hokkaido way with the most fresh and rich shrimp sauce, paired with white shrimp head broth and sea bream slices, clams, squid and other seafood, rich and flavorful. The “Extreme Cod Roe Milk Fish” has a smooth soup base with a rich cheese flavor, while friends who enjoy spicy food can try the “Unparalleled Intestine and Blood Fish”!
