Blue Bottle Coffee’s Central and Wan Chai branches will extend their operating hours from September 30th, every Thursday to Saturday. They will also launch a limited edition Craft Instant Espresso project from 7pm to 9pm, offering specialty coffee cocktails.
Blue Bottle Coffee collaborates with world champion mixologist Antonio Lai to design 4 cocktails using Craft Instant Espresso as the base and incorporating local ingredients. Each cocktail is priced at HK$120 and comes with a snack pairing. One of the cocktails is the “Coffee Negroni,” which adds Craft Instant Espresso to the strong and boozy Negroni, infusing it with coffee aroma. It is garnished with orange peel, making it a perfect aperitif.

The “Hong Kong Milk Punch” is a cocktail made using milk washing technique exclusively available in Hong Kong. Craft Instant Espresso is added to local Kam’s Coconut Cream, pineapple-infused rum, coconut water, and homemade pandan syrup, resulting in a smooth and aromatic drink. There is also the intense and pure flavor of the “Coffee Old Fashioned,” as well as the carbonated sensation of the “Coffee & Rose Tonic Highball” with hints of anise, citrus, and sweet licorice.
Blue Bottle Coffee invited Antonio Lai to be a guest mixologist at their Wanchai store in October, and will also be hosting a coffee and cocktail workshop.
