In the Soho district of Central, this two-story restaurant MONMONO is already quite eye-catching from a distance! The interior of the store is also decorated in the same yellow tone as the exterior, with many paintings and exotic decorations, making it perfect for Instagram check-ins!
MONMONO specializes in Mediterranean cuisine, with many dishes featuring seafood. Starting with the appetizer, “Scallop Crudo,” which consists of thick slices of Hokkaido scallops topped with lemon juice and bell peppers, it is refreshing and colorful. The “Caesar Salad” is a classic choice, made with romaine lettuce, anchovies, crispy ham, garlic croutons, and Parmesan cheese, it is fresh and delicious.
“Manila Clams Stew” is a dish that combines Spanish spicy sausage and white wine to cook clams. However, MONMONO’s method differs from others as it uses spicy sausage, white kidney beans, and white wine to make the stew even more flavorful. The restaurant’s “Lobster Paella” is also an upgraded version, cooked with a rich broth made from simmering lobster heads, enhancing the freshness of the dish.
