The lobby lounge of The Langham Hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui has started trial operations before its official opening. The lounge features floor-to-ceiling glass windows facing Victoria Harbour, offering a panoramic view of both sides of the harbor. The most eye-catching feature is the three-tiered afternoon tea, available from 12-6pm for a full 6 hours. Even during lunch hour, you can enjoy afternoon tea while gazing at the blue sky and the harbor.
Afternoon Tea $888 for two people, including four types of sandwiches. The bread alone is carefully crafted, with four different flavors all baked in-house, including original, tomato, sesame, and lemon. The fillings are also thoughtfully prepared, with ingredients such as black truffle Brie cheese, caviar, crab meat avocado, and smoked salmon sour cream.
There are three exquisite desserts available, including chestnut cake, gluten-free chocolate cake, and cheesecake. They are beautifully designed and there are also madeleines and scones, served with homemade jam and clotted cream. The portion for the entire afternoon tea is quite generous.
In addition to Afternoon Tea, there is also caviar available ($1,200/30g, $2,000/50g), served with thin pancakes and various traditional condiments, paired with champagne for a perfect match.
The dessert counter also has a series of 12 beautifully packaged cakes that look like a jewelry display case, even the take-out boxes are designed like jewelry boxes, very exquisite.
