by

From Tokyo, “Nakameguro at the Top” has opened its first overseas branch in Tsim Sha Tsui. It is a highly popular robatayaki izakaya in the area, with a hidden and mysterious location.

The restaurant is mainly decorated with walnut wood, and in the central area, there is an open-style teppanyaki bar. There is also a sushi bar and a chef’s table, where guests can enjoy their meal while watching the chef prepare delicious food. With a wide selection of sake, it creates a lively atmosphere.

In terms of food, you can enjoy a variety of dishes similar to those found in Japanese izakayas, including appetizers, small dishes to accompany alcohol, sashimi, grilled dishes, specialty dishes, and desserts. The ingredients used are supplied by Yamaji, the largest wholesaler in Toyosu Market.

Must-try hot olive oil mentaiko baguette, served sizzling hot in a cast iron skillet, spread the savory mentaiko on the baguette, super delicious! Other yakitori dishes include grilled beef tongue, eel, etc. If you’re a fan of fish, you can also order a whole fresh fish! The fish meat is tender and rich in oil, perfect with a touch of yuzu vinegar!

Other snacks include crab miso grilled in a shell, sake-steamed clams, and Japanese-style stir-fried beef noodles, all of which are perfect for pairing with alcohol!
