Since landing in Hong Kong last year, Blue Bottle Coffee has attracted a wave of cafe enthusiasts! Following the two locations in Central and IFC, the brand continues to expand against the trend, this time choosing the address of St. Francis Street in Wan Chai to bring the largest three-story coffee flagship store in Hong Kong. They have also introduced a variety of light lunch options for the first time, allowing everyone to enjoy not only coffee but also delicious food to satisfy their stomachs!
The brand has always been known for its minimalist design style. The new store is designed by the American design studio WRK-SHP, using local walnut wood to create indoor furniture and decorations, making the store full of warm texture. The design inspiration comes from various expressions of “light”, creating three new styles in the store through different materials, lighting, and other design elements, with “sun”, “moon”, and “stars” as the main themes.
The new store has 3 floors, with the ground floor using stainless steel to symbolize the brightness of the sun; the first floor features a hand drip coffee station, depicting the surface of the moon with oxidized brass meteorite patterns; the second floor combines bright and matte mosaic tiles, along with the sparkling effect of sunlight, bringing a delightful dining experience.
The new store features not only a first-floor hand-brewed coffee experience but also a second-floor option to sit down and enjoy the newly launched light lunch menu. Options include spinach omelets, ham and cheese croissant sandwiches, and grilled sandwiches with 4 types of cheese. For a healthier choice, you can opt for the grilled sandwich with tender chicken and vegetables, or a salad with waffle fries.
If you’re in the mood for something sweet, then the homemade Grain Yogurt Bowl is sure to please your taste buds. In addition to using grains, they also add almonds, pumpkin seeds, and other healthy foods, mixed with Greek yogurt, making the taste richer and healthier. These new menu items are all collaborations with local farms, using absolutely natural and healthy ingredients, allowing everyone to eat satisfied and at ease.
