If you like to eat oysters and want to find a high CP value Japanese-style buffet, you can try the Hokkaido Kiki Oyster House next to the escalator in Central’s LLTower! A few months ago, they moved from Flower Market Street to a new location, with a more spacious storefront and a variety of specialty dishes.
One of the recommendations is the “90-minute all-you-can-eat kaiseki-style buffet”, which costs HK$498 per person and includes appetizers and two main courses. At the same time, you can also enjoy unlimited servings of fresh oysters from Hokkaido and Japanese scallops from the Kita Kakiya oyster farm!
The appetizer includes “Kitaki Kaiseki Eight Delicacies”, which consists of Ise lobster yokan, sea urchin and snow crab golden paste with crab vinegar jelly, handmade moon-viewing grilled chicken cartilage stick, charcoal-grilled live eel (two servings), mentaiko mixed with okra, Kitaki Kaki tea-infused rice, fresh and sweet Aichi prefecture white elephant clam sashimi, and seasonal salad. The presentation is exquisite, and the “Ise lobster yokan” is made with clear bonito soup, full of the delicious flavor of lobster!

The second dish is “Matsuba crab and mushroom Goto hand-pulled udon with white elephant clam soup”. The soup is made by boiling 10 catties of white elephant clams, and is paired with whole Matsuba crab claws from Japan. Seasonal dancing mushroom and a small amount of yuzu peel are added to enhance the flavor, creating a dish that is full of freshness.
There are also many choices for lunch sets, such as “Tuna Sashimi Donburi” and “Oyster Soup with Gotou Udon”, which are convenient for the nearby Central office workers! In addition, there are also a variety of snacks, à la carte skewers, and sake cocktails, among which the “Charcoal Toast with Matsuba Crab Paste” is a must-try, with rich crab flavor and crispy toast, it’s a pleasant surprise!
