A new Japanese izakaya called “Yurakucho” has recently opened on Yunyan Street in Central. The interior design is inspired by traditional Japanese architecture, with elements such as bamboo wallpaper, rustic textures, stone, and wooden panels. The open bar tables create a comfortable atmosphere, making it a great place to enjoy good wine and food after work.

The store offers a variety of food options, such as takoyaki potato chunks, topped with bonito flakes, seaweed, and egg yolk sauce, bringing a variation of traditional Osaka street snacks. The thinly sliced smoked octopus sashimi with yuzu and onion sauce brings out the freshness of the seafood, while one of the highlights, the robatayaki, comes with charcoal-grilled skewers, grilled platters, and snacks, each dish freshly prepared and with its own unique flavor.
