New soft tone café in San Po Kong! Abundant natural light design/Japanese egg card Bonny/Soft-centered cheesecake

This soft-toned new café is located across from the Rainbow Path East Head Village in San Po Kong. The owners have named the coffee shop “Roommate” in the hopes of creating a space in this neighborhood where nearby residents and customers from other areas can gather together, and even become friends with strangers.

The coffee shop is located in a corner position, with a spacious interior. There are semi-height gauze curtains on both sides of the glass windows, giving off a slight Japanese and artistic vibe. The floor tiles and walls inside the shop are in earthy tones and soft pink, with ample natural light. Facing the tree shadows outside the window, the view is comfortable and the atmosphere is very calm.

The menu includes pasta, all-day breakfast, and other savory dishes. One of the owners used to work as a chef in a hotel. The “Traditional Carbonara Pasta” ($88) uses Japanese egg for a special creamy texture. The “Basil Tomato Sauce Handmade Potato Balls” ($78) are pasta balls made with potatoes, with a soft and chewy texture. They are handmade and available in limited quantities daily. During lunch hours, you can add an additional $12 for a homemade corn soup with a natural sweet flavor.

Desserts include “Basque Cheesecake” ($48), which has a rich and creamy texture with a soft and smooth molten center, and the sweetness is just right. “French Banana Madeleine” ($32/2 pieces) has a golden crispy outer layer and a soft interior, with a rich sweetness.
