Located above the wedding invitation street, this café has a row of large windows that offer a panoramic view of the historical buildings on the street. It is rare to find such an open and airy architectural and tree-lined landscape in the bustling city. The newly opened café here is from Nations Coffee, which originated in Ngau Tau Kok. After relocating the old store to Wan Chai, the owner has decided to add their own baked goods to the menu.
The bagels, scones, brioche butter rolls, and desserts such as cheesecake, chocolate cake, and waffles on the menu are all developed and made in-house. The brioche can be paired with homemade artisanal jams (HK$36), available in lemon, strawberry, and blueberry flavors.
French toast (HK$118) is also made with brioche bread, soaked in egg batter until golden and crispy. Bagels can be simply paired with cream cheese or with smoked turkey breast, tomatoes, red onions, etc.
In terms of drinks, the owner loves coffee. Single-origin coffee beans from a famous British brand are selected, and different styles of cups are deliberately chosen to match the drinks. Transforming a cup of dirty coffee into beauty (HK$40), the slightly gourd-shaped cup makes the texture of coffee and milk more visually appealing, while the tall glass of latte with ice cream and cream on top is rich in flavor and perfect for taking photos.
In addition to the Iced Kyoto Uji Matcha Latte (HK$68), there are also flavors such as Hojicha, French 72% Dark Chocolate, Rose, and Caramel.
The café has plenty of seats, including high tables near the window and swing seats, creating a very comfortable atmosphere.
