The “Wai Fong” at Tai Wai Station opened to a crowd of people! The new mall has many shops and food establishments, including under the roof, a 4,000 square foot space. On one side is “Lobby by Hair Corner,” where you can quickly get your hair styled, and on the other side is the connected “Noda Coffee Specialty Store,” where you can enjoy coffee and purchase a variety of different flavored coffee beans!
The interior design is based on traditional Japanese architecture, incorporating elements such as roof beams, wooden pillars, cement, dry landscape gardens, and wave-patterned walls. Inside the store, you can find over 90 carefully selected and unique coffee beans from around the world, including a limited edition Mexican coffee bean from JAS-certified organic farms, which is processed using the traditional Petate Dry method, resulting in a distinct sweetness and honey flavor.
“Noda Coffee” has a corner called “Noda Sweet House” that offers a variety of Japanese-style desserts. These desserts are created by a team of pastry chefs who have previously worked at Michelin two-star restaurants, Japanese pastry chefs, and Noda’s experienced baking team. The desserts include the soft and buttery “Noda Japanese Thick Pancake,” the “Signature Croffle with Osmanthus Tea Jelly” that retains the fragrance of Osmanthus oolong tea, the “Hoijicha Tiramisu” topped with creamy milk foam, and the refreshing and slightly acidic “Coffee Fruit Jelly Mousse Cake.”
In addition to enjoying coffee and desserts, the shop also has a “fresh roasting” room where you can appreciate the steps of coffee beans, roasting, and brewing. Coffee enthusiasts can also make a reservation to personally experience a 15-minute “coffee brewing” session, where they can choose their favorite coffee beans and professional coffee utensils to brew their own coffee with the assistance of a professional barista!
