Recently, the Japanese ramen restaurant “こころ” from Tokyo has opened a new store in Sha Tin New Town Plaza. The Hong Kong store uses their own freshly handmade noodles, which have a chewy and springy texture. The broth is rich and flavorful, and the toppings are abundant, including char-grilled pork belly, raw egg yolk, spicy minced meat, bamboo shoots, and more. You can also add their homemade vinegar sauce for an extra kick of flavor!
The new store brings a new limited edition “Rich Uni Ramen” (HK$188), which is a unique style only available in Hong Kong. It is made with uni sauce and fresh sea urchin, giving it a sweet and rich sea urchin flavor. It is also served with crab roe, raw egg yolk, scallions, and crushed seaweed, creating a rich and flavorful taste. Another option is the “Sea Urchin Thick Soup Ramen” (HK$188), which is also a must-try for sea urchin lovers. It uses top-grade sashimi sea urchin and is dipped in a rich sea urchin sauce. The noodles are coated with the sauce, creating a strong and delicious flavor with every bite.
In addition, the second store in Sha Tin introduces a new tea brand called “Kokoro Nomimono”. It uses organic tea leaves grown in Brook’s own tea garden, a Japanese brand with a history of over a hundred years. It offers a variety of specialty matcha and roasted tea drinks, with a light and mellow tea fragrance and a rich aftertaste. When combined with rich coffee, it brings out a unique flavor.
To celebrate the opening of the new store, “Menya Kokoro” is now offering a special promotion. Until June 30th, customers who order any noodles can enjoy a Japanese melon shaved ice at half price (original price HK$68)!
