In addition to visiting the Hong Kong Museum of Art to see the large retrospective exhibition “Miro’s Poetic Everyday”, you can also go to the Australian restaurant Hue Dining on the 1st floor of the museum to taste the “Joan Miro Dinner”, a 7-course dinner inspired by different artworks. Even the presentation of the dishes is filled with artistic flair!
For dinner, start with Spanish Iberian ham paired with wine-infused olives, which has a rich fruity aroma and unique personality. As for the main course, there is Spanish red prawn seafood rice, cooked with Bomba rice from Valencia, Spain, which absorbs more broth and has a fuller texture compared to traditional rice dishes. The second main course is slow-cooked suckling pig, served with sauce and artistically presented on a plate to resemble a starry sea.
There are also two desserts, namely the refreshing and tangy Lima Limon lemon sorbet with lime foam, and the traditional sweet and crispy Torrija Spanish crispy toast, served with caramel brioche bread, cinnamon, vanilla, and dark chocolate ice cream. Additionally, each person can add HK$450 for 6 glasses of wine pairing. For every two guests who order the “Joan Miro Dinner” set menu, a complimentary souvenir worth HK$200 will be given.
