Hana, a small Japanese cuisine restaurant specializing in wagyu beef and hot pot, has actually been in business for 10 years! The restaurant is now offering a special promotion for 4-6 people, featuring one kilogram of premium Japanese wagyu beef. The three set menus are named “Hana,” “Matsu,” and “Take,” starting from $2780 up to $3280. It’s actually a great deal when you gather enough friends to enjoy it!
The package includes a rich variety of items, with each serving typically consisting of nine seasonal appetizers, four types of sashimi, grilled crab miso, chawanmushi (steamed egg custard), a plate of assorted wild vegetables, udon or rice, and a dessert platter.
The three meal sets are only different in terms of the variety of wagyu beef. Apart from the price difference, the “Flower” set priced at $3280 includes one kilogram of meat, including Saga A5 wagyu beef, beef green peppers, and sirloin, as well as selected beef tongue and Kumamoto white pork. The sight of a large plate of meat already makes carnivores’ mouths water.
The most delicious way is of course the sukiyaki cooking method. In the Kansai style, after coating the pot with beef fat, the beef is fried until 70% cooked and then the sauce is added. The beef is fully coated with the sauce and dipped in a little Japanese egg, very satisfying! If you prefer a lighter taste, you can also choose the shabu-shabu cooking method.
