Kwun Tong café new menu! Variations of pineapple bun dessert/Yuan Yang thick toast/Rolled flower-shaped stir-fried beef ho fun

With delicate shapes like a flower roll, how would you expect it to be a dry-fried beef ho fun? There are also real pineapple “pineapple bun”, and company sandwiches like Mexican rolls, the appearance is extremely thoughtful café food, but the inspiration and ingredients are classic tea restaurant. Such creative dishes come from coffee or Tea in Kwun Tong, transforming cha chaan teng and tea food into young and trendy.

“The Lovebird Egg Dish” ($78) uses four different cooking methods – pan-frying, baking, steaming, and boiling – to prepare the eggs. The thick dual-colored filling consists of tamagoyaki and baked egg white, topped with a thin and crispy layer of egg custard cooked at 65 degrees, as well as a savory salted egg yolk that is steamed and then baked. Made with Japanese eggs, it has a rich flavor and a variety of textures.

“Iron Plate Beef Ho Fun” ($118) replaces ho fun with rice noodles, rolled up with Japanese egg skin and Italian cucumber slices, drizzled with Chinese barbecue sauce. The bottom layer of bean sprouts, onions, etc. absorbs all the sauce, emitting a delicious aroma on the iron plate.

“The Crispy Company Sandwich” ($78) is wrapped in rice paper with ham, bacon, tomato, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, wrapped in bean curd skin with a rich filling, drizzled with homemade sauce, and is quite satisfying when eaten.

“Stir-fried Chives” ($128) looks exquisite like fine dining, but actually, the base is a fluffy omelette made with bean sprouts, ham, and other ingredients. The outer layer uses crystal powder and rice paper instead of rice noodles, topped with shrimp and homemade curry oil, fragrant and slightly spicy.

“Stir-fried Italian Rice” ($128) uses whole tomatoes to accompany Italian rice-shaped pasta, cooked in the style of risotto to make the pasta grains full and juicy. Paired with smooth egg and shrimp, even the black olive powder has been carefully considered, enhancing the flavors of each ingredient and providing an Italian touch.

“The Pineapple Sea” ($78) turns pineapple buns into desserts, with a crispy puff pastry base, thick slices of pineapple in the middle, topped with pineapple bun crust, a piece of dried pineapple, and French butter, creating a pineapple bun with real pineapple!
