Recently, the weather has started to cool down. If you’re thinking of inviting friends to have hot pot and also want to take some photos, you can go to the newly opened “Fragrant Hong Kong” hot pot restaurant located in Causeway Bay’s Lee Theatre Plaza!
The new store in Causeway Bay is beautifully decorated with a nostalgic feel of old Hong Kong. The design of the entrance reception area is inspired by a theater ticket booth, with red stage curtains hanging on both sides of the entrance. Upon entering, you will see a large stage chandelier, and the new store also uses stage spotlights and adjustable ball lights as part of the experiential rooms, making you feel like you’re in a theater.
The store is adorned with multiple vintage cameras and camcorders on the walls. Additionally, there are elements of Anita Mui’s drawings and classic movie scenes. In the middle, there is a rotating platform with a second-hand motorcycle, creating a nostalgic atmosphere.
In terms of food, the new restaurant has introduced a new soup base, “Black Garlic Pork Bone Hot Pot,” which uses slightly sweet black garlic paired with a rich milky white pork bone soup base. The soup base is specially added with fried garlic, full of garlic flavor. As for the “Spicy Clam Soup,” it is made with tender clams and fresh mushrooms, and is seasoned with a secret spicy sauce made from various types of chili peppers, giving it a spicy and sweet flavor. As for the hot pot ingredients, the new restaurant has introduced “Three-color Flying Fish Roe,” which combines three colors of squid paste with crab roe, creating a delicious and flavorful combination.
