New savory snacks continue the elements of a tea restaurant! When Wenli Bakery’s new croissants and stuffed sweet buns

Incorporating local food elements into Western pastries is definitely a specialty of Dangwen Bakery. The latest savory series also reflects the characteristics of the tea house, with Hong Kong sentiment, while upgrading the ingredients. There are also new sweet breads and cookies, whether you are a fan of savory or sweet bread, you will definitely be satisfied!

Three new savory snacks include “Salty Beef and Egg Croissant” ($68), a large croissant sandwich filled with Japanese egg scrambled with creamed salty beef, sprinkled with fluffy French Comté cheese crumbs, overall rich in layers, with just the right amount of saltiness.

The “Smoked Salmon Croissant Toast” ($108) is topped with Norwegian smoked salmon, sour cream, and salmon roe on their homemade croissant toast, full of freshness. The “Eggs Benedict Croissant Toast” ($88) is a square croissant toast baked in-house, with layers of smoked ham, poached egg, and Italian sheep cheese. The combination of egg yolk and hollandaise sauce mixed with the crispy croissant toast provides a multi-textural enjoyment. These three new savory dishes can be paired with a drink for an additional $20 to become a set meal. The bread is freshly baked daily in their own kitchen, and the portions are generous, offering great value for money!

If you prefer sweet flavors, you can try the two newly launched explosive sweet buns. The “Strawberry Oatmeal Custard Croissant” ($34) rolls the croissant dough into a cylindrical shape, with a thin and crispy outer layer, and when cut open, it is filled with bursting strawberry jam and oatmeal custard, the guilt-free oatmeal custard greatly reduces guilt!

“Pistachio Cherry Butter Bread” ($38) is also filled with a generous amount of filling. When sliced open, you’ll find a soft and smooth pistachio jam, along with a perfectly balanced sweet and sour cherry jam. Don’t forget to take a photo before eating!

Also featured are two new cookies, made following the recipe of the American flagship store. The “Double Chocolate Nut Cookie (Gluten-Free)” ($29) and the large “Chocolate Cookie” ($29) are sure to satisfy bread or dessert lovers!
