After a long time, the M+ Museum finally reopened today. In addition to visiting the M+ exhibition hall, you may want to explore the newly opened restaurant ADD+ at the art park waterfront promenade. This is a concept restaurant that offers international cuisine all day, hoping to bring food into visitors’ museum experience!
The restaurant has a total area of over 10,000 square feet, with 3 different areas: the spacious casual dining area, the pleasant bar area, and two private dining rooms. With floor-to-ceiling windows throughout, diners can enjoy views of the expansive West Kowloon Art Park and the magnificent Victoria Harbour skyline from any area. The combination of beautiful scenery and delicious food is truly an extraordinary experience.
In addition to being able to sit down and enjoy a meal slowly, the restaurant also caters to those who want fast food, so it has a Grab & Go takeaway area, allowing everyone to quickly fill their stomachs and continue to appreciate the artworks in the exhibition hall, as well as providing another option for people having a picnic in the park.
The menu at ADD+ is filled with a variety of international delicacies, led by Executive Chef Chen Yingwei, who selects high-quality seasonal ingredients. From classic Hong Kong snacks and Chinese dim sum to creatively innovative global cuisine, combining the main concept of “all-day dining” to bring unexpected surprises of international cuisine to everyone.
Chinese dim sum, such as Canton Dim Sum Box, incorporates innovative elements in its interpretation. It is presented in a grid format, filled with nine exquisite dim sum dishes carefully designed by experienced chefs, including: wolfberry drunken chicken dumplings, scallion beef taro puffs, soy sauce beef cheek spring rolls, fresh shrimp and eel seaweed spring rolls, and other specialty dim sum. In addition, the ADD+ Hainan chicken rice here is an improvement on the famous Hainan chicken rice from a high-end hotel in Wan Chai. The chef uses a secret chicken soup base for cooking, resulting in tender and flavorful chicken meat that is worth a try.
Hope you, who prefer light meals, have plenty of choices, including ADD+ Company’s sandwich with 18 layers of super fillings and sauces, which is not only delicious but also impressive for social media check-ins! If you want to have takeaway snacks, we recommend the two-tone egg waffles, which come in four flavors including original, sesame, strawberry, and Earl Grey.
While enjoying eggettes, take a leisurely stroll along the West Kowloon Waterfront, it’s especially pleasant. You might as well pair it with refreshing drinks like Frozen Peach Tea, classic cocktails like Jan’s Collins or Thai Martini, and other specialty beverages to add a delicious touch to your museum tour!
