Mastercard offers a 10% cashback to entice Hong Kong residents to shop in the mainland.
Beijing has become a new hotspot for Hong Kong residents' spending trips to the north. According to data from the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, in the first half of this year, the city received 194,963 travelers from Hong Kong, representing a year-on-year growth of 182.2%. With the growing interest of Hong Kong residents in Beijing's culture, Mastercard has launched a cash rebate program offering up to 10% cashback to attract more travelers to choose Beijing. The promotional activity will continue until the end of October, and eligible cardholders can register on the Mastercard platform to participate, enjoying a cash rebate of up to RMB 400 when spending more than RMB 2,000 in mainland China. Additionally, Mastercard has also introduced a series of unique travel experiences in Beijing for Hong Kong residents to choose from.
