平治 is unveiling the all-new CLE Cabriolet, inheriting the classic design and cutting-edge technology of its convertible model, providing drivers with year-round convertible driving pleasure. Based on the CLE Coupé, this new model incorporates more sophisticated details and rich standard equipment, making it stand out in the market.
The all-new CLE Cabriolet comes equipped with a fabric soundproofing soft top, available in black, red, or grey. The soft top can be opened or closed in 20 seconds at speeds of up to 60 kilometers per hour. In addition, it features the standard AIRCAP® electric wind deflector system and AIRSCARF® neck heating system, ensuring a comfortable top-down driving experience even in cool weather. The AIRCAP® system consists of an electrically extendable wind deflector behind the rear headrests and on the windshield, effectively reducing interior turbulence, while the AIRSCARF® provides warm airflow to the front passengers’ necks.
The interior design of the cabin is also one of the highlights. The 12.3-inch digital instrument panel complements the 11.9-inch central display screen, the latter of which can be tilted electronically to avoid glare. The optional dynamic ambient lighting extends from the driver’s seat to the doors and rear side panels, creating a unique surrounding fashion atmosphere. The dashboard, waistline, and soft top storage compartment cover are all decorated with black synthetic Nappa leather, accented with chrome.
In terms of seating, to prevent genuine leather seats from overheating in the summer, a special coating that reflects near-infrared rays from the sun is used on the surface, which can lower the temperature by up to 12 degrees. The optional Burmester® 3D surround sound system is equipped with two speakers at each seat headrest position, combined with Dolby Atmos and Spatial Audio technologies, creating an immersive music experience. This premium sound system features a total of 17 speakers, and the Advanced Sound System is also included as standard equipment.
In terms of space, the all-new CLE Cabriolet offers the most spacious cabin space in the mid-size car segment, with dimensions of 4,850 mm in length, 1,861 mm in width, 1,424 mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2,865 mm. Rear seat passengers benefit from an extended wheelbase of 25 mm, providing an additional 72 mm of knee room, and 19 mm more shoulder and elbow room, offering ultimate comfort for long-distance driving.
The luggage compartment has a capacity of 385 liters (295 liters with the top down), suitable for daily use. If needed, the 60:40 split-folding rear seatback can be easily folded down to increase space. HANDS-FREE ACCESS allows the luggage compartment to open fully automatically without touching, while the standard KEYLESS-GO feature allows you to lock and unlock the vehicle with just a light press of the door handle.
In terms of power performance, the all-new CLE Cabriolet features a powerful Mild-Hybrid hybrid powertrain with a starter generator and a 48-volt electric system, providing a high-performance four-cylinder engine that combines comfort and performance. The vehicle is equipped with DYNAMIC SELECT, allowing drivers to choose different driving modes to adapt to various road conditions and needs. The standard active suspension system can independently control the damping characteristics for each wheel according to driving conditions, vehicle speed, and road conditions, offering excellent driving pleasure.
