In recent years, fast fashion brands that focus on affordable prices, including H&M, Zara, and GU, have actively entered the beauty industry. It is not a new trend for affordable brands to enter the beauty world, but H&M stands out with its fast fashion culture! To target Generation Z, H&M Beauty has launched a new in-house vegan OHH! series, incorporating colorful Y2K elements that are sure to catch the attention of many young people!

H&M launched the Hello Kitty lip gloss series as early as 2009, and in 2011, they also released a variety of eyeshadows, lip glosses, and nail polishes. In 2015, they finally entered the beauty industry and launched the H&M Beauty collection, which is available in all 900 stores worldwide and on their official website. The official statement says, “Entering the beauty industry allows us to complete the look. We can create any imaginable style, including colors, materials, classics, natural, or fashionable. But the most important thing is quality.”

H&M recently announced that it will open its first H&M Beauty flagship store in Oslo on May 4th, and a second H&M Beauty store on May 25th. In addition to their own brand products, they will also introduce over 80 popular beauty brands, including Smashbox, Anastasia Beverly Hills, and the exclusive products from Huda Beauty. The beauty flagship store incorporates a one-stop shopping concept, with beauty consultants available and an adjacent H&M store, creating a comprehensive fashion and beauty experience.
