劳力士自2019年开始推出“保护地球，恒动不息”（Perpetual Planet）计划，整合品牌与多个单位，如伦敦皇家地理学会（Royal Geographical Society）、深海探险家Sylvia Earle等的环境保护合作。其实早在1930年代，品牌已为伦敦皇家地理学会珠穆朗玛峰的探险队提供装备，到2002年正式成为其赞助商，多年来曾支持多项历史性探险活动。
为了记录并保护赞比西河的源头河流，品牌通过计划支持由探险家Steve Boyes率领的“非洲大脊梁”一系列探险活动，追踪记录这条从未被科学记录的长达数千公里的河流。
Steve Boyes and the team have been planning a journey of over 40,000 kilometers over the past few years, equivalent to circling the Earth. The results of the expedition will provide important information to help protect the people and wildlife that rely on the rivers of Africa for their livelihood.
