In Tsim Sha Tsui, a Japanese food street with over 30,000 square feet has recently opened a new railway-themed café, Hara Café, with station and train decorations, bringing a full retro vibe, suitable for all railway enthusiasts to check in!
Hara Café takes inspiration from antique electrified trains “Hanshin Electric Railway 311 Series” and “Hakone Tozan Railway Chiki 1 Series” to recreate real-life carriages, classic stations, and driver control rooms. Inside the carriage, there are 3 sections of Japanese-style compartments separated by folding screens, and the wooden glass sliding doors add to the retro atmosphere.

Inside the carriage, the real sound of the train “driving” will be played, while showing documentaries of various landscapes from around the world, imitating the scene of the train running on the tracks, allowing everyone to enjoy food while admiring the “scenery outside the window”!
Of course, you can’t miss the railway bento box when taking the train! Hara Café offers original railway selected sushi, original railway sashimi rice bowl, Japanese-style hamburger steak, grilled eel, and more. The “Beef Teriyaki Bento Box” features tender beef slices with sweet teriyaki sauce, leaving a lasting impression!
The “carriage” also offers a variety of popular Western Japanese dishes, such as the tender and chewy “tiger prawn and asparagus stewed pasta,” “Hokkaido scallop black truffle fresh mushroom pasta,” and specialty sandwiches.
As for the “Original Railway No. 1” and “Charcoal Roasted Coffee” in the store, they have just selected high-quality coffee beans, roasted deeply over charcoal fire, bringing a rich and mellow flavor, suitable for pairing with desserts, savoring slowly in the carriage!
