The Pottinger Hong Kong x PAUL & JOE BEAUTE Colorful Summer Afternoon Tea
The Hong Kong Kerry Hotel collaborates once again with the Parisian fashion and beauty brand PAUL & JOE BEAUTE to launch a vibrant “Colorful Early Summer” afternoon tea. Taking inspiration from PAUL & JOE BEAUTE’s latest 2023 summer limited edition beauty collection and signature products, a series of exquisite savory and sweet delicacies with summer colors are designed, allowing everyone to feel as if they are in a playful and refreshing beach party. The afternoon tea will be available at the lobby lounge from April 3rd to May 31st.
Led by hotel executive chef Michael Clinton and executive pastry chef Jérôme Husson, the team of chefs refined a red shrimp jelly infused with the fragrance of orange blossom, using it as the design concept for the brand’s products. It is served with sweet red shrimp tartare, refreshing avocado sauce, and pear to awaken the taste buds. The foie gras ice cream is presented on a plate with a sunny beach theme, designed by the head chef. The tartness of raspberries and the freshness of yuzu balance out the smoothness of the foie gras mousse, and dry ice is added to the container to create a refreshing summer sensation, adding a playful touch.
Other exquisite savory treats include caviar waffle with sour cream, egg and finely chopped scallions, honeydew cheese potato balls with Parmesan ham and pork floss, surprising combinations of innovative ingredients; truffle cream cheese sandwich with seasonal wild mushrooms and cucumber salsa, enhanced with butterfly pea jelly for a refreshing summer touch.
Desserts also showcase the chef’s exquisite craftsmanship, captivating the taste buds of customers with a variety of dazzling and enticing desserts. The blueberry cheesecake is based on the vibrant purple nail polish shade from PAUL & JOE BEAUTE’s 2023 summer collection, while the mint chocolate cake is adorned with a blue and white doodle cat logo, giving it a lively and playful feel.
Afternoon tea also comes with homemade English scones, available in classic flavors and a special green tea flavor, served with French jam and cream. While enjoying delicious tea snacks, take a sip of lychee pineapple soda or upgrade to a pair of French Krug champagne (HK$188/two glasses) to spend a leisurely and relaxed afternoon tea time with your best girlfriends!

AMMO x HABA Exquisite Rose Limited Afternoon Tea
AMMO collaborates with Japanese skincare brand HABA to launch a unique “Gorgeous Rose Limited Afternoon Tea” inspired by their latest Shark Squalene Beauty Oil (Rose Scent). It will be available from March 1st to April 30th, priced at HKD 438* (for two persons).
AMMO Executive Chef Fung Wong has carefully designed a selection of savory and sweet Japanese-inspired pastries for afternoon tea. The bottom layer of the afternoon tea stand consists of sea urchin beef tartare with frozen tofu, avocado and tuna tartare crispy rice cakes, pickled cherry tomatoes with plum wine, and sakura shrimp cola cakes. The top layer features French caramel custard cheesecake, Japanese fruit sandwiches, sakura Italian panna cotta, strawberry roll cake, and of course, the classic English scones with clotted cream and strawberry rose jam that should not be missed during afternoon tea.
Customers can also order the signature cocktail “Spy Rose” from AMMO, or pair it with a “Rose Latte” to complete the afternoon tea experience. For every two afternoon tea sets purchased, each guest will receive a voucher for the HABA Squalane Rose Brightening and Hair Care Experience Set, as well as a voucher for a skincare treatment (valued at HKD 2,440).
