The restaurant itself serves Western cuisine, and last week it launched a new three-tier afternoon tea. Arriving in the afternoon, the sunlight shines through the glass windows by the pool onto the elegant floral patterns on the walls and the dark green seats, making it a unique spot for taking photos.
Afternoon tea $488/2 people, $268/1 person, savory items include crab cakes, deep-fried risotto rice balls, vegetarian spring rolls, fresh shrimp cups, sandwiches, Parma ham breadsticks, while desserts include macarons, Italian panna cotta or tiramisu, cake of the day. Scones served with cream and organic fruit jam, taste great, and the portion is quite satisfying for afternoon tea.
If you don’t like too many sweet treats, the lunch set menu (starting from HK$188 per person) is actually more appealing, with a choice of soup or salad for starters. The mango avocado prawn salad or the tomato buffalo mozzarella salad are both refreshing appetizers, and for the main course, you can choose from six options, such as black truffle wild mushroom risotto, Italian-style Milan pork tenderloin with pasta, all of which are authentic Western flavors and very filling.
The slow-cooked salmon fillet with potato salad and lemon vinaigrette is rich and tender, the portion of potato salad is generous, and the grilled Australian ribeye steak with red wine sauce is flavorful and rich.
Actually, whether it’s lunch or afternoon tea, having this flowing lotus pond view, basking in the sun here, makes me feel better!
