Hotel ICON will be adding 6 more sessions to the Malaysia Durian Festival previously launched! Durian lovers who missed out before will have another chance to taste the durian buffet breakfast and lunch, experiencing the taste of the “King of Fruits”!
This self-service brunch offers a platter of 5 different varieties of Malaysian durian flesh, including top-grade D197 Musang King, Highland XO, D163 Hu Lu, D88 Little Sweetie, and a mysterious variety from Johor, which is being introduced to Hong Kong for the first time!
There are also a variety of creative durian dishes, including the individual serving of Musang King durian abalone red date white fungus stew, which is sweet and nourishing. The Musang King Salad with Golden Scallop uses whole Australian scallops, fried to a crispy golden brown, and eaten with durian flesh mixed into the salad, full of freshness. Durian dishes served in a buffet style include D24 Durian Crispy Seaweed Glutinous Rice Chicken Roll, Typhoon Shelter Durian Tofu, Durian Coconut Ribs, Durian Golden Oatmeal Prawns, and more.
Durian desserts are all made with Musang King and D24 durians, including durian sticky rice, durian cheesecake, durian pandan roll, durian pudding, durian cream puffs, durian cheesecake tarts, and pandan durian glutinous rice cakes, as well as durian ice cream made with generous durian pulp. Every bite is filled with the rich aroma of the king of fruits!
In addition to durian delicacies, the buffet also offers a variety of authentic Malaysian, Thai, and Singaporean dishes, such as Thai seafood tom yum soup, Fujian pork bone tea, beef noodle soup, Penang laksa, Hainanese chicken rice, as well as chilled seafood, Japanese sashimi sushi, Häagen-Dazs and Mövenpick ice cream, and unlimited designated red and white wines, sparkling wines. Foodies will definitely be satisfied!
