The “Beyond Vegan-Winter” afternoon tea by Tushenghua incorporates the hair care formula ingredients of AVEDA nutriplenish™ long-lasting nutrition and moisturizing series into the traditional Korean temple dining culture. The afternoon tea is served in a two-tier wooden box, featuring savory and sweet delicacies including the spicy “homemade ginger shell cake”, fragrant and tender “fresh mango tart”, “seasonal pomegranate jelly”, and “homemade coconut sugar”. In addition, there are signature snacks such as the chewy “Korean-style rice cake”, traditional “Korean rice cake”, authentic “Korean rice roll”, “Korean persimmon and walnut roll”, “cabbage roll with secret soybean paste sauce”, “crispy seasonal vegetables”, and “Korean pickled rice ball”.
In terms of beverages, you can choose Korean flower tea, or for an additional charge, select from a variety of Korean non-alcoholic cocktails, such as “Strawberry Swing,” made with fresh strawberries, oranges, grenadine syrup, and soda, bursting with fruity flavors; there is also “Green” made with cucumber, mint leaves, and apple juice, “Orange” made with a mix of grapefruit and lemon juice, and “Cyan” made with fresh pomegranate juice, apple juice, and lime juice, emitting a fresh aroma.
In addition to tasting vegetarian delicacies and specialty drinks, afternoon tea also comes with an AVEDA hair repair experience set (valued at HK$295), including the flagship products of the nutriplenish™ long-lasting nutrition and hydration series, which contain organic pomegranate oil, organic coconut oil, mango oil, etc., to nourish and moisturize the hair with vegan ingredients.
