宋冬

Song Dongze takes “freedom and openness” as the main theme of creation, and names the newly interpreted Lady Dior as “window bag” because he believes that “window” is a symbol of freedom, born in the 1980s of China’s reform and opening up. He was inspired by wooden windows with the imprint of the times, and replicated the window frames with wood grain resin borders, inlaid with colorful mirrors. Each “window” is pieced together to create a rich picture, flawless to the eye.

Joël Andrianomearisoa

The artist from Madagascar who came up with the theme of “romantic love” for this creation, the layered materials, embroidery, and cutout flower designs on the exterior showcase a unique craftsmanship, symbolizing the rhythm of a heartbeat in love; the smooth flawless lining represents the whirlwind of love, creating a new love story through this contrast. The handbag also comes with a booklet filled with the artist’s memories, design process, and future life diary, presenting their intentions to the public.

Judy Chicago

Feminist artist Judy Chicago has always been committed to using her creations to combat traditional patriarchy, emphasizing female self-identity. This time, her interpretation of Lady Dior focuses on “women’s sensuality”. The three styles all use Dior’s innovative dual-color decorative craftsmanship, presented in pearl hues, metallic luster, and iridescent effects. The spiral and shell-like lines on top evoke the curves of a woman’s body, both dazzling and highlighting female power.

Gisela Colón

Gisela Colón, known for her “organic minimalism,” continues her futuristic creative style by incorporating cutting-edge technology into the Lady Dior, designing the “Stardust” and “Amazonia” styles. These designs not only express the vast galaxy theme but also pay homage to Mr. Christian Dior’s love for divination and constellations. She reinterprets the handbag’s tones and lines in a personalized way, with the mesmerizing colors symbolizing the mysteries of the interstellar world. The innovative use of aerospace materials creates a reflective effect that changes with the light, giving the lines a more three-dimensional effect. Even in the details, she does not overlook anything, pairing classic Dior letter charms with giant stone accessories to elevate the futuristic feel of the handbag.

Bharti Kher

Renowned contemporary Indian artist Bharti Kher has always used the red dot Bindi on the foreheads of Indian women as the main element of her work, treating it as a cultural symbol and transforming it into a fashion accessory. This time, she has once again transplanted this mark onto the design of Lady Dior. She delicately outlines a snake pattern with the Bindi symbol, complemented by warm tones, showcasing a continuous vitality and spreading the essence of this mark representing Indian women more widely.

Mai-Thu Perret

Mai-Thu Perret, who is involved in various fields and creative media, drew inspiration from an educational method implemented in 19th-century German kindergartens to create a set of mysterious alphabets composed of abstract symbols. These letters combine cuneiform writing, painting, and Mondrian aesthetics, and are placed on Lady Dior in the form of tapestry patterns, blending everyday and artistic sensibilities. The handle and enameled metal Dior letter charms are made using ceramic molds handcrafted by the artist, bringing together a diverse range of craftsmanship.

Recycle Group

Recycle Group is formed by Andrey Blokhin and Georgy Kuznetsov, who often incorporate physical materials and augmented reality technology into their works to achieve dazzling effects, and this work is no exception. They reshape Dior’s classic houndstooth pattern through wave and vortex effects, interpreting the world’s illusory and uncertain perspectives, and expressing how deeply the digital age influences their creativity today.

Chris Soal

Chris Soal was born in the nature-filled landscapes of South Africa, and the complex relationship between urban life and ecological conservation has become an important theme in his work. He excels at incorporating everyday items and discarded materials into his pieces. This time, he used folded bottle caps adorned with the Dior logo and toothpicks hand-painted and embroidered as the main materials. Paired with vibrant shell patterns and Dior letter pendants that combine an elegant bottle opener design, he created two new Lady Dior handbags. By using materials that represent consumerism to contrast with the luxurious and elegant Lady Dior, he achieves a striking effect.

Claire Tabouret

French artist Claire Tabouret is known for her figurative art style, and this time she uses Lady Dior as a canvas, outlining a self-portrait with strong and bold strokes. In the painting, she is depicted with blood-red lips holding the iconic handbag charm, while the edges of the handbag are adorned with white lace, stripping away the elegant tone of Lady Dior itself and replacing it with a mix of horror and romanticism. Another style uses faux fur as material, featuring a dancing ballerina, echoing the love of dance art by Mr. Christian Dior and Maria Grazia Chiuri.

Olga Titus

Olga Titus’ work often incorporates traditional customs and civilizations from around the world, while also venturing into the virtual realm, imagining a fictional place that sparks a new culture. This time, she used colorful beads and sequins to weave a dazzling “miniature universe” reminiscent of a kaleidoscope, constructing a tangible yet touchable space. Another Lady Dior design features her characteristic decorative masks as the centerpiece, using hand-painted enamel metal as the main material, with a base of wool embroidery with a velvet-like effect, paying homage to the arts of Asia and Africa.
