En collaboration avec la designer de mode de luxe Tamara Ralph, Audemars Piguet lance une nouvelle édition limitée de montres-bracelets de la collection Royal Oak Concept. Cette créatrice britannique est renommée pour ses créations qui allient créativité et charme féminin.
La nouvelle montre est dotée d’un boîtier en or rose 18 carats orné d’une finition givrée en perles de joaillerie, associé à un cadran à plusieurs niveaux aux nuances de brun, de bronze et d’or, tel une œuvre d’art sortie du pinceau d’un peintre. Cette nouvelle création a été présentée lors de la semaine de la haute couture à Paris, dans le cadre de la collection printemps-été 2024 de Tamara Ralph, mettant en valeur la parfaite harmonie entre l’horlogerie de luxe et la haute couture sur mesure, et ouvrant ainsi un nouveau chapitre dans l’histoire de la collaboration entre Audemars Piguet et les industries créatives.
Tamara Ralph and the watchmaker of Audemars Piguet have pushed the limits of craftsmanship, highlighting their meticulous attention to detail in high fashion. This has given birth to a novel multi-layered watch face. The four overlapping circular rose gold base plates resemble ripples, emanating from the flying tourbillon at the 6 o’clock position. Each layer of the multi-layered watch face presents a different color, ranging from brown and antique bronze in the center to gold on the outer edge, creating a harmonious gradient of colors. The brown and gold colors are achieved through electroplating, while the antique bronze color is achieved through lacquer art. The sunray satin-finished decoration on the watch face radiates from the hands and aligns perfectly between each layer. Delicate diamond-polished gold threads outline the outer edge of each circular base plate, enhancing the depth of the watch face and showcasing exquisite craftsmanship. This limited edition watch is equipped with the 2964 manual winding movement, which combines tradition and modernity. The flying tourbillon, rotating continuously at the 6 o’clock position, allows for a close appreciation of the intricate mechanism’s agile movement. Through the sapphire crystal case back, the back plate of the movement and the back of the tourbillon echo the multi-layered circular watch face.
