Audemars Piguet collaborates with high-end couture fashion designer Tamara Ralph to launch a new limited edition Royal Oak Concept Flying Tourbillon watch. This British designer is renowned for her creations that combine rich creativity and feminine allure.

The new watch features an 18K rose gold case and is adorned with frosted gold jewelry craftsmanship. It is paired with a multi-layered dial in shades ranging from brown and antique bronze to gold, resembling a work of art by a painter. The new piece was previously unveiled during the Tamara Ralph 2024 Spring/Summer collection at Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week, showcasing the perfect fusion of high-end watchmaking and high-end custom fashion, and marking a new chapter in Audemars Piguet’s history of collaboration with different creative industries.

Tamara Ralph and Audemars Piguet’s watchmaker have pushed the limits of craftsmanship, highlighting their meticulous attention to detail in high fashion. This has resulted in the creation of a novel multi-layered watch face. The four overlapping circular rose gold base plates resemble ripples, emanating from the flying tourbillon at the 6 o’clock position. Each layer of the multi-layered watch face presents a different color, transitioning harmoniously from the central brown and antique bronze to the outer gold. The brown and gold colors are achieved through electroplating, while the antique bronze color is created using lacquer art. The sunray satin-finished decoration on the watch face radiates from the hands and aligns perfectly between each layer. Delicate diamond-polished gold threads outline the outer edge of each circular base plate, enhancing the depth of the watch face and showcasing exquisite craftsmanship. This limited edition watch is equipped with the 2964 manual winding movement, which combines tradition and modernity. The flying tourbillon, rotating continuously at the 6 o’clock position, allows for a close appreciation of the intricate mechanism’s graceful movement. Through the sapphire crystal case back, the back plate of the movement and the back of the tourbillon correspond to the multi-layered circular watch face.
