在工业化时代，商界都以量取胜，制作需时、讲究手艺的工艺品尤显珍贵。今个一月，大家不妨走进位于中环闹市中的一座历史建筑，参观「飘雅活艺」以木工艺品为主题的展览，细味传统工艺与当代艺术结合的创作。
“Piao Ya Huo Yi” is a platform that combines local and overseas craftsmen for exchange. Through organizing themed exhibitions, workshops, residency programs for craftsmen, and other activities, the public can appreciate the beauty of craftsmanship, while contemporary craftsmen can exchange experiences and inspire more creative ideas. In the past, exhibitions have been held on different themes to showcase the creations of more artists and craftsmen. “飘雅活艺”是一个结合本地和海外工艺师的交流平台，通过举办主题展览，工作坊，工艺师驻留计划等活动，让大众能欣赏工艺品的美好，也让当代工艺师们能互相交流心得，激发更多创作灵感。过往就以不同主题的匠艺举办展览，为大家展示更多艺术家及工艺师们的创作。
This time, the “Ingenious Wood Immortality” exhibition showcases a total of 9 sets of woodworking works from local and overseas craftsmen in Hong Kong. Woodworking was originally a construction technique, but as it continues to develop, it has become a specialized craft that can not only produce furniture, decorations, and containers but also artistic ornaments. The exhibition showcases different types of woodworking works, highlighting the history of woodworking craftsmanship and its application in contemporary life in Hong Kong, as well as the combination of traditional craftsmanship and contemporary art.
参展本地工艺师包括：林池师傅、萧炳强师傅、黄健洪师傅、管小卫、刘伟昌、周健龙、翁泳恩、叶晋恒、郝志新、吴铤灏、林昆佑、黎润诗、陈郁、罗芷韵、陈子骏、张瀚谦及温家诺。部分工艺师亦参加了飘雅活艺的工艺交流计划，让不同界别及世代的工艺师能在这平台融汇创意及技巧。
联合策展人周健龙表示香港现存数十间木工工坊，但大家能专注在不同领域，借助今次展览，木材成为媒介，联系了不同工艺师，也探索木材更多可能性。飘雅活艺创意总监及联合策展人陆咏沁则希望通过展览，让观众能在木工艺品中看到它们的故事，以及创作者的热情。
木材源自大自然，是一个富有生命力的材料，让我们通过这次展览，一览匠心独运的作品，也探索木材更多可能性。
