我们不时在本地的展览中看到石家豪与谢炎安的作品，虽然他们的创作媒介完全不同，但创作主题都是围绕着本土文化。原来二人相识超过 20 年，他们都是中文大学艺术系 2001 年的同届艺术硕士毕业生，近期他们在 PMQ 举办联展，虽然名义上是为纪录硕士毕业 20 周年，其实亦是他们多年友谊的见证。
石家豪以中国传统工笔人物技法基础，结合当代构思以及港式风情，发展出新旧共融的独特画风。谢炎安以塑料彩画布为创作媒介，掌握西方当代绘画语言，对普及文化及次文化亦有敏锐触觉，作品通过流行图像反映个人视野。这次展都是出两位艺术家的全新作品，描述一些陪伴他们成长的文化偶像，而两人更破天荒为这展而共创作品。
The theme of the work is quite rich. In addition to a series of meticulous works by Shi Jiahao combining Chinese painted porcelain patterns with rock album covers, Xie Yan’an also painted many cultural images full of local colors. When the exhibition space is surrounded by traditional Chinese meticulous ink paintings and colorful contemporary plastic colors, it not only does not appear abrupt, but also brings a great sense of freshness to the audience.
