Japanese popular deep-fried skewer restaurant “Kushitei” opens in Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong! The restaurant’s interior design follows a wooden and Japanese style, creating a comfortable atmosphere with soft lighting. The menu in the restaurant changes according to the seasons, and the Hong Kong branch offers two limited edition deep-fried skewer dishes.
The store offers two options for the Japanese tempura chef’s set menu, with ten courses (HK$498 per person) and twelve courses (HK$698 per person) respectively. Both menus include a “seasonal appetizer platter” combining three seasonal ingredients, a refreshing “homemade mochi tofu” as an appetizer, and a choice of dessert between “stuffed ice cream” or “homemade pudding”. For the main course, diners can choose between “Inaniwa udon” or “chicken tea-infused rice”.
The “Ten Deep-Fried Skewers Menu” includes “Deep-Fried Wagyu Sirloin with Black Truffle Sauce Skewer”, “Deep-Fried Angel Prawn Skewer”, “Chive and Chicken Roll Skewer”, “Deep-Fried Scallop Skewer”, “Deep-Fried Oyster Skewer”, “Deep-Fried Salmon Skewer with Salmon Roe”, and more. There are also Hong Kong-exclusive “Deep-Fried Special Mushroom and Minced Meat Skewer” and “Deep-Fried Gluten with Parmesan Cheese Skewer”.
Recommended single dishes include tender Japanese chicken, including “Japanese-style Nanban Fried Chicken” (HK$68), “Pan-fried Black Satsuma Chicken Breast” (HK$88), and “Chicken White Soup Ramen” (HK$68). In addition, there are also “Black Truffle Fries” (HK$58), “Soy-marinated Cream Cheese” (HK$68), and other snacks to accompany a variety of Japanese sake and fruit wine. It’s a great place to meet friends after work.
