Tsim Sha Tsui Nostalgic Feel American Dessert Shop! Black and White Checkerboard Cake / Individual Portion Banana Pie

American dessert shop Butter has opened a new dine-in restaurant at K11 MUSEA in Tsim Sha Tsui, with red-themed decor, neon signs, black and white checkered floor tiles, and booth seating, all reminiscent of 80s American diners!

Butter’s desserts also follow an American retro style, among which you must try their classic flaky apple pie. The pie is made by cooking sour-sweet Gala apple slices, brown sugar, cinnamon, and lemon slightly, then baking them on a pie crust without shortening, and spreading salted caramel between the crusts, bringing a savory and sweet taste. In addition to the apple pie, there are also cherry pie and lemon meringue pie.

K11 MUSEA store has 3 exclusive new desserts. The “Mini Checkerboard Cake” has layers of vanilla frosting and chocolate crumbs, revealing a black and white checkerboard pattern when sliced. The “Mini Banana Cream Pie” is topped with fresh bananas, banana pudding, sea salt caramel, and whipped cream on a crumbly digestive biscuit base, perfect for one person. Another option is the “Assorted Cookie Stick” filled with coconut, crushed peanuts, salty crackers, and caramel sauce, offering a multi-textured experience, with each piece individually packaged.

In terms of drinks, there are homemade Rosie’s root beer, Sweetheart Strawberry Lime Special Drink, and Rock ‘n’ Roll Root Beer Ice Cream Float, which feel cool and refreshing!
